Kitten Adoption

Interested in adopting a kitten?

Adopting an animal is an important decision that will affect you and your household for many years to come. We welcome you to visit our veterinary hospital so you can spend some time with our kittens and be sure of your selection. If you don't find the perfect kitten, please feel free to return to our hospital at a later date, as new kittens join our adoption program on a regular basis.

Adoption Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must have a valid I.D. with your current address
  • Ideally, all members of the household should be present
  • Understand that we do not reserve or hold any kittens
  • Understand that you must undergo all steps of our adoption process
  • Understand that we charge an adoption fee as outlined below

Our helpful veterinary nurses and receptionists are here to assist you with your selection and to answer any questions you may have. Remember not all kittens will be appropriate for all household situations, so please allow us to guide you in your final decision.

Adoption Process:

  1. Visit Mosman Vet and meet and greet the kittens in our program.
  2. Once you have decided on a kitten, please inform a staff member so they can arrange for you to consult with our kitten adoption co-ordinator who will organise your kitten adoption pack.
  3. Plan on spending up to 30 minutes with our co-ordinator as she will provide you with all the up-to-date information on basic kitten care including health and training. She will also answer any questions you may have.
  4. Complete the adoption process, finalise payment, pose for a picture and take home your new kitten!

Adoption Fees:

We accept Cash, Cheque, Eftpos and Credit (American Express, MasterCard or Visa).
