Microchipping and Registration

Microchipping safeguards your pet as it is the best method for the identification of lost or stolen pets.

It is a local council requirement to microchip all dogs, all cats owned after July 1, 1999 and all cats and dogs being purchased or re-homed.

New pups and kittens should be microchipped by 3 months of age and registered with your local council by 6 months of age.

Microchipping is a simple procedure and can be done at a routine visit to Mosman Vet.

Mosman Vet will enter your pet’s microchip details onto the NSW Companion Animal Register.

March is 'Polite Pets' Month at Mosman Vets!

To Celebrate, Mosman Veterinary Hospital will be releasing a series of FREE articles offering advice on training, behavior, and the best ways to ensure your pet is a model canine or feline citizen.
